Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Blueprint Journal adopts a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All manuscripts submitted are screened using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) prior to the peer review process.
Forms of plagiarism include but are not limited to:
-
Copying text from other works without proper citation.
-
Republishing substantial portions of another’s work without permission.
-
Using others’ ideas, data, or results without acknowledgment.
-
Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication without appropriate referencing.
The acceptable similarity threshold is ≤ 20%.
Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article will be retracted and an official retraction notice will be issued on the journal website.
