Blueprint Journal is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. To guarantee digital preservation, the journal applies the following archiving policies:

  1. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe):
This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

  2. PKP Preservation Network (PN):
BJ is integrated with the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network, which provides secure and decentralized archiving of published content.

  3. Institutional Repositories and Indexing Services:
Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, or personal websites, with proper citation and a link to the original version.

  4. Backup and Redundancy:
Regular backups of the journal’s website and database are conducted to prevent data loss due to technical failures or unforeseen events.

Blueprint Journal is dedicated to maintaining open access and availability of all articles for the global scientific community—now and in the future.
